The deadline for bear has already passed. Deer and elk applications are due by May 22.

I believe for every special hunt you apply for you get a point.  You can also get big points for turning in poachers.  Your points add up and the more points you have the better your chances of getting drawn are.  You can apply as an individual or as a group.  If you have 0 or 1 point and another person has 4 or 5 then I'd sign up as a group.  You will have better odds of getting drawn then.  It's all spelled out in the giant fish and game regs book that's put out every year.   :bash:  The dates are in there as well or you can look em up online.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong but thats how I understand it.

Its all in the regs. Like old school said it depends on your points as far as draw odds, but your odds aren't very good if you never put in! Each hunt has different draw odds, so you'll have to read up about which one you would be putting in for. Some of the spring bear tags aren't too tough to draw.
