Mine got messed up awhile back. It was nothing Cabelas did. The issue was with whoever was processing the the NICS check. They had superimposed two numbers so it was messed up. We made some phone calls to them and it was straitened out. I know you do the electronic version of the 4473 and that should be easy to transfer, but where ever they do the NCIS checks at, they have to enter the SSN by hand, and where a human interacts, there is going to be errors.

I STAY with him often, I guess that would me more appropriate wording? My residence/majority of my things/my license/mail/everything - Roy, him Spanaway. I didn't intend for it to be suspicious.Quote from: jeepasaurusrex on March 28, 2013, 05:30:57 PMMine got messed up awhile back. It was nothing Cabelas did. I am going to try to call tomorrow the number the gentleman gave me, and then wait on the CPL results like huntnphool said, and maybe in the meantime take it as a good thing and find it cheaper possible.

If you havent already, I would start the process of getting your CPL. Other than the obvoius of being allowed to conceal carry it will alleviate the chance this will happen again.
Having a security clearance would not do anything to help or hurt purchasing a gun. It can be many things, spelled your name wrong, Moved lately and not updated. But I do thank you as reading this made me remember my CCP expires on April 12th
I'd wait until you get the permit results. If you don't get it then there is a bigger issue. If you do get it then I would go down and buy it over the counter. You may check out Federal Way Discount too, they will be cheaper for the same gun.
Odd because I have held 1 all the way back to working on the B-2 stealth when it was a "black" program. I have never been denied or put on hold I wonder what the difference is?
