I got a deer scored at the Puyallup show with similar characteristics.  I knew he wouldn't make the book and really didn't care.  I just like knowing the "real" score for when people ask.  Same reason I weigh all my fish.  Just like knowing the real number so I don't feel like I'm fudging when I relay the story.  Drives me nuts when a 13 lb. fish is passed off at 18-20, etc.

I shot one this year that will make it at the lower end after the drying period and deductions. It dosent really matter to me, Im just happy I killed a magnificent animal and am not embatassed in the slightest. Actually quite the opposite.

That's it..... :jacked:.....If you are gonna mention a scored animal, it is required to have a picture attached with official score.  I will add mine when I get it back and have it scored.  Unafficially it is mid to upper 150's (avatar pic).

Should be mandatory to weigh all bear  ;)  Even fish can't hold a candle to the outrageous guesses of bear weight.  Most are off by at least 50%.  That's why when guiding we tried to get all bear out whole and then took them to the Bumble Bee fish house to be accurately weighed.  Plus it's nice to gut them while they are hanging :chuckle:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Hope it makes it that's a cool bull! Pretty sure I have the previous years shed from the 4pt side. I gave it a 28" spread and figured it around 211" but it may be a different bull or he may grown some. Good job and good luck! Here's a comparison with a bull that scored 240." Regardless of the score I'd still consider that a trophy coming out of the toutle.
