Lots of guys on the coonhound sites are using them back east and LOVE them.  The new collars get much better range.  I don't know how they will work out here though.  My two concerns are the battery life, reported at only 17 hours and the range.  If you get on a travelling cat or a serious bear race (over in Idaho) then you may have some lost dogs.  But back east they are extremely happy with them.
