Found my first elk shed and my buddy found the other side!

Nice job, thats why I shed hunt alone, who keeps the other side???? Looks like a blue's bull that has typical broken antlers.  I'm jelous, congrats!

my buddy and i are both horn addicts and dont like giving sheds away. theres no way i would hav found the other side where he did. and he lives less than a half mile away so its close to bring the other side over and match them up haha

Thats a awesome find!

Myself and most of my buddies I shed hunt with all have the same agreement. If we each find a side from a set the set goes to who found the first shed. Everyone is different im sure, but it works for us. :twocents:

ive thought of that but id hate to give up a shed that i busted my butt to find because he found the other side first. with us being good buds and live very close we dont worry about it. we each have a side to whitetail this year too
