what is this?

My brother and I were scouting Kapowsin for spring bear when we saw this on an old skidder road  :o it looks like the skeleton of a newt or salamander, but what is the blob?

Looks to be a Bigfoot regurgatation slime rocket. There prevalant in that neck of the woods.
