Those are Tadpoles. Not the same as the Bigfoot slime rocket above.

No they are salamanders that I pictured, but it was only a guess as to what the blob was in the original post.

"Several salamanders are well into their breeding cycle at this point. The large baseball sized jelly globs of the Northwestern Salamander have been deposited on stems in creeks and lakes for almost a month now. So have the smaller egg masses of the Long-toed salamanders."

I have no idea why anyone would have this much info on salamanders.  :chuckle: :chuckle:

What does this have to do with bear hunting?

This strange Blob was found while scouting Bear. we are trying to identify it. Any Ideas?

No, I just didn't read the original post that said this was seen while bear hunting. Now I understand. But I'm still not sure why it's in the bear hunting section.  :chuckle:

And no, I have no idea what it is. But I do agree it likely has something to do with Bigfoot.

We found this BLOB in the middle of a skidder road.  The critter, which now is only a very well preserved skeleton, seemed to have been absorbed by the BLOB.  Since we were scouting for bear and it's in the Kapowsin unit I just thought I'd post it here.  If I had posted it under MISC and this BLOB absorbs a Kapowsin unit spring bear permit holder this season - well, I couldn't forgive myself. :bash:

Reminds me more of Alien. Did you find a bear nearby with it's chest cavity exploded?
