I agree it could be bear. But I don't think the fact that it's in a solid clump excludes it from being moose. Elk sometimes have solid turds like that. It's just too big for an elk, or at least seems to be. Let me ask you this: are your turds always the same shape and size, or does it depend on the food you've been eating at the time?
Would grizz have a diet consisting of that much grass? I could see a bunch of grass in the springtime, but fall? Maybe BF is a good option.

Could there have been a bunch of snow on the ground when the animal took a dump, thus helping keep it from breaking apart, then the snow melted when you found it?
