Male GSP to good home
« on: October 02, 2008, 11:25:11 PM »
I have a 2 yr old male german shorthair pointer thats become a little more dog than what we can handle and maintain a happy home. He's been on lots of quail, grouse, and chukar and is a super hunting dog. Big runner and very athletic. He's fixed, current on vaccinations, house broke, and kennel trained. We have a couple other dogs and there are no aggression issues and even with his size and bulk he's submissive to our old golden retriever.

Issue is that he's a big athletic sporting dog and it's not lending to a happy home with the wife. Likes to hop the fence when he's bored and visit the neighbors and loves to roll in stinky stuff. It's just getting to be too much trying to explain to Mrs CHKR HNTR it's not that big of a deal, because it is to her.

He doesn't necessarily have to go to a hunter but definately someone who will interact with him a bunch. He's a great hiking partner. Not at all interested in giving him to someone who is just going to leave him in a kennel all the time. So if your interested, have a 6' fence or lots of room, and want a dog that you and your family will spend time with please let me know. We are in Ellensburg and if interested we could even set up a hunt to take him out on. Pics available by email, thanks!
