Couple of fixer-upper's in Kent, Ore.
That first one is worth some money Don, you should talk to the land owner.

The original Circle K!
Is this in Kent right off HWY 97?
Edit: just saw your other posts. Nice pictures, I was down there a couple weeks ago. Cool area, but there is no gas in Shaniko.

I've always enjoyed that old gas station at Kent, there are some other cool old buildings not far from there and old cemeteries. Here's an old homestead in Wyoming, those guys must have really enjoyed their solitude. Also, an old Chevy grille.

It just occurred to me that the two cars above are the same car. There is another on the other side of the building but I can't figure out where I got those from! So looking for it I found this old Ford Homestead on the Agency Plains out side Madras. Story is the Ford was a dry land wheat farmer and when they finally got water there, he wouldn't use it. neat old house and neat pump close to it. You can see the pump in the lower left corner.
This it the same house from a different angle. That hydrant is not the old pump. The pump is on around the house out of site.

This is the old Clarno Homestead. No longer there but Ray Clarno assured me this is it. It had been remodled several times over the years. Last lived in about 1989, year I moved over here.
The Moro Homestead near Kent. An old woman, Bertie, born and raised in Kent told me she used to play with the kids that lived here. Bertie died about six years ago at 93.

The Ira Monger Ranch. Barber that is in Madras, Charlie, told me he played with the kids in this house when he was in school. He's from Fossil. First photo is it taken in 1995 and second the same house in 2010.
