There were a bunch of old cabins up by China Wall that we would always check out, was sad after the last fire they are gone.

I love this thread.  Thanks to all contributing.  Hard not to imagine all the stories, hardships, and personal and family dreams associated with these old buildings and homesteads...

It was neat to see, it must have been quite the spread in it's day.  Kind of sad with the grave there, I wonder what the story is on that?  I tried to google it, but couldn't find much.

With I could remember where this old cabin was located. Ran across it about 15 years ago while on a road trip on Hyw 20 somewhere on the east side.
  Looks like a certain lookout cabin in that neighborhood.  If so, you should remember the hike.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.
