I'm pretty humbled right now but,

I'll get over it.

There Paul fixed it for ya.  Nice job on the breeding.  Did you negotiate a hunt over weekend with each of the new parents?

I was told to buy a ticket and hurry up duck season!

In my world there are very few things more wonderful than a good  Chesapeake.  A good Chesapeake puppy is one of them.  :)  Sounds like you have a pretty special litter.  I watched the video about Coon Creek and fell in love.  That looks like an awesome place for a Chessie to spend it's life.

If I remember correctly your last litter was sired by Dom's boy Rebel.  Have you heard much about how those pups are doing?

Also, since your in Fall City do you happen to know anything about Wings Wildlife Studio?  At our DU banquet last weekend I was high bidder on a mallard size mount.  How good they are will determine which birds I pull out of the freezer to have them mount.  This was my 11 year old sons first season as a shooter and we have lots of birds he wants to have mounted.  I have a few special ones too.

Congratulations on the fine litter.

Thanks- I've heard of the taxi-guy here but, I don't think I've ever met him.

They've about doubled in size in just a week. Here are two of the boys- Big heads and dark brown.

Sunday I had a special day- In my first All-Breed Field Trial I got a JAM(what some call "Just Another Mutt" :)) I finished the trial yet didn't quite do welll enough for a placement. I had to handle on the last long retired water mark. Took me out of a chance at 2nd or 3rd. Judges Award of Merit is what it actually means. My training partner who is in the picture with me WON. It was his first ever field trial entry. We were both pretty happy with the results. He's never used a professional trainer. I worked with Tom and Katie Quarles alot last year but, have been training solo since Sept 2012.

Mom's on Nature's Domain Blue Bag and I supplement her with cottage cheese and half and half poured over her food. Her milk production this litter has been excellent.

When in working shape Kaie is about 70lbs and Jamie is about 75-80lbs.

I've been slacking. Have a pup owner or two asking as well. I've been doing a little celebrating. Ty took a jam in the field trial two weeks ago. The local pros came back to town and ran this weekend. I'm still floating right now, placed 4th on Friday. Beat a quite a few pro trained dogs. Feels good as a lowly AM.

One slipped whistle on a water blind cost me a placement and qualified all age status.
