Nope, its being snapped up by all the folks who are worried that the Fed.Gov WILL enact some legislation that would make components either illegal or more expensive (like a tax on bullets of $.05 ea).

Also some folks are just flat preparing for a possible worst case scenario in this country IF the Feds decided to do a "Gun roundup".  I have a sneaking hunch that such an action might not QUITE go as well as planned.  :bdid:

I do think the government and DHS get a good portion from what I have read, but who knows how true that is. It's lucky when I find ammo at the store. So many people are stock piling and just as many seem to be reselling it trying to make a buck. Just my  :twocents:

I'm sure it's true about the "G" stockpiing....

Senator Rand Paul asked why homeland security ordered so much ammo, they did not answer.

If you need primers stop at Big R and Clarks Allsport in Colville when you come over turkey hunting, they had primers last time I was in there and have been getting shipments fairly often. I could even pick you up some if needed.

What are you looking for?  I have been seeing lots of powder and primers, except the Pistol Small primers, those are like ghosts.  Everything else keeps coming out and then gone quickly.
I think Federal was holding back some of the orders until the April 1st price increase.  Center fire rounds went up 15% and rimfire went up 10% for promo stuff.  If everyone had a limit of one per customer, a lot of shelves would be full.  Many stores have created lists and when supplies come in they get a call, so you never see it touch the shelf.  Dave's and Skagit Arms are doing this.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
