« on: April 08, 2013, 05:53:48 PM »
hey everyone . i was at sportsmans today at 3pm and they just got a bunch of ammo , primers and powder . theyare limiting so everyone can get some. but its a pretty generous limit. they had 9mm, 22lr. 38spec, 40. small and large pistol primers and some powder. if u live close it might be worth a trip. this is just an fyi . so you will have to go look for yourself if you have any guestions... oh yeah the prices were pre scare prices. I wish good shopping to you.

I don't know what time they close, but i assume it's to late to make it tonight. I will have to see what they have left tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the information, Bucks&Bulls.  I am just happy that they kept that store open.  I don't know where we would go if that store closed--it is the only real outfitter store in West Sound (and, next to TJ's and Costco, darned convenient).  I also went in, but on Sunday.  There were pallets of shotgun shells, but not a lot of rifle rounds, next to nothing for sidearms.  Your timing was better than mine?

For those on the penninsula that missed the sportsmans shipment. Walmart got 100 boxes of 5.56 ammo and Boerner has 100,000 rounds of 5.56 on the shelf as well as target and home defense handgun ammo.

:bash: Thats too bad too, cause I could use some 556 and need handgun ammo in a pretty bad way but I will never shop at Boerner's ever again in my life...

Which walmart?

Just curious, but why do you dislike boerner?

I have a list about a mile long, but at the top is a bunch of rude sales guys that don't know anything about state law, but will act like they are all firearms lawyers and kicking people out of their store that are legally open carrying and trying to tell them that it is against the law, when they themselves are doing it.  This wasn't a case of private property and being asked to leave, it was being told to leave because they didn't know they law and told someone they were breaking the law.  I get not knowing the law, but to lie to people because you don't like something is just wrong.  At least have the decency to point them in the direction of the RCW's instead of making stuff up... And if you truly don't know, there is no shame in telling someone that.

Bill Boerner can keep his little overpriced hole in the wall... I will take my money elsewhere.  The last time I went in there a guy was trying to sell my brother in law a no-name, overshot, garbage AR for $2500 because of the current climate, He told him he would be hard pressed to find "another decent AR like this for anything less that $2000." The whole exchange to me screamed "price gouging" and a week later he picked up a BRAND new, middle of the road quality, AR for $1100 somewhere else... He's anti-gun rights, Anti-telling people the truth (even when asked or confronted) and over priced on pretty much everything he sells...He can take his little crappy store and stuff it...

I like to shop local, but when this is the local option I will take my money to the internet if I have to to stay away from there... At all costs...

If you want some of the topics around the internet on him...

Sorry that was the Port Orchard Walmart. Don't know if they still have any there, was getting ready to head out there. Maybe run up to Sportsmans too.

There are a couple of guys who work in Bills store that I'm not to fond of myself. However I have never had an issue with Bill and I pay less at his shop then I would at Cabela's or Sportsmans and it saves me 35 minutes to an hour of commute. I also would rather prefer to support local buisness then corporate whenever possible.
