I am but I want out.  When I started putting in the mule deer hunt I wanted only required 3 pts on average.  With point creep here I am with 7 chasing the same hunt.  Going to be an expensive deer tag.

I think I'm going to. Probably points for elk and desert bighorn. Not sure about pronghorn. I'll put in for some of the southeast deer units, but this will be my first year.

anybody hunt muleys in the southeast?

In for deer, elk, and sheep with 8 points each.  Drew a 71-79 late deer tag last year, but had to turn it back because of conflicts with other hunts.  The good news is that they restore your points and award another for the current year if turned back before the start of the hunt.  Points only for antelope.

In for antelope with 10 points, deer with 10 points, elk with 9 points, desert bighorn sheep with 10 points and California bighorn sheep with 9 points. I went pretty long on odds so I'm not holding my breath.

I just did a little odds calculating and figure I should have roughly a 20% chance of pulling a Nevada tag for something. Starts making a person wonder about the wisdom of investing in those points.

How many of you just put in on an annual basis but get your license refunded and forgo the points option when not drawn?

In for everything... one of 4 states (besides WA) I apply for, and I apply for all species, just because I guess.... but I am getting out as soon as I draw the Antelope tag I want... hopefully next year or the year after.
