DIY Hydro dip?

Did my shotgun a couple months ago, very happy with the way it turned out.

This is basically what it looked like pre-dip.

No, did all the pieces individually, but dipped each entire piece at once.  Barrel was easy, pieces that come to a point (like bottom side of stock) or are somewhat squared off (like the underside of the receiver) pose more of a challenge for some reason.  It's not really evident in these pictures, but I double dipped the bottom 2 inches of the stock.

Here  are a few customers trophy's that I dipped.  For a guy to just dip a few things the starte up fees are the biggest.  I started with about 200 dollars that included 3 prints a quart of activator, paint, tape, and a tube for dipping.  Now Im into it about a thousand dollars and can dip anything tha is 36 inches by 48 inches.  Once you get the hang of it is pretty simple.

On the shotgun, did you leave the guts in the receiver? Then just dry thoroughly?

Nope, pulled all of the working pieces out of the receiver, taped off anything that I didn't want camo on.
