traditional arrows and broadhead?

Does anyone have advice on wood arrows or broadheads? I was looking at some raptor archery arrows. And zwickey 2 blade eclipse broadheads. . . Anyone ever used anything from raptor archery or the broadheads?

I used that still of heads a long time ago and they worked for me then. I havent shot wood arrows in a veryb long time though, id yhink someone will chime in that has more recent knowledge.

Out of my recurve I used to shoot cedar shafts with 3 blade woodsman broadheads.

I have done a lot of business with ted at raptor archery and spent a lot of time in his shop.

Buy the zephyr or simmons they are both very well made heads.

Their history and tradition is worth supporting and her arrows are a work of art.  I usually get the spruce. 

Of course the nest step in traditional archery is making you own   It is like reloading and just as addicting.

Depending on weight of broadhead you use most of the old reliable brands are good.  I use Stoss but, honestly can not say it any better that others mentioned.

Sorry for taking long to reply Im on my phone and it likes to be dumb  thanks carpsniper  i will look into those. . . And dreamunelk i was looking into there arrows or raptors  they both make some beautiful arrows from the looking on there sites. . . Just trying to hear on the performance of either before buying cause they are pretty spendy

Suzanne St. Charles - One of my favorite people on this earth!  You won't find a better wood arrow.  She takes her arrows very serious and it shows.

I am a fan of the Zwickey heads for traditional wood arrow bowhunters.  Solid construction, good steel, great bargain and a great and successful history.  I do prefer the Eskimo or Delta models over the Eclipse.
