BLRman, I'm sorry for your loss, my heart is heavy and my stomach is in knots.  Like the gentleman had state earlier, I too lost my best friend, it was one of those one in a million shots. Leaves you in total disbelief that something this terrible can happen. As stated in the other thread, me as an infantryman am super thankful for skilled men as your brother.  Through his talent at the sticks, he has saved countless men and women.. Words just can't describe..

I am so sad to hear this......We should all come together and do something for his family.... He sacrificed his life for all of us the least we can do is let his family know that we appreciate his service....... Just so sad.

There's a few threads up with donations for a wreath and a hunting contest. The Joshua Cup has been revived!

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

Sarcasm: The ability to insult stupid people without them realizing it.

My level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity...

Sarcasm makes smart people laugh and stupid people mad.

I didn't know colockumelk, but would see his posts on here from time to time.

May god be with him and his family, I am really sorry for his loss and from the comments and stories mentioned here he is a  true American hero who served our country both as a Marine and Army Apache pilot.

"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter
