Spokane Gun Show***Tons of AR's***
« on: April 05, 2013, 01:57:31 PM »
I have only been to the Spokane gun show one time several years ago. Can anyone tell me if you have to be a member like at the WAC shows to sell or purchase firearms at the Spokane show?

I don't want to take something there and find out I cannot sell it once I get to the gate.

By the way, it's a DPMS LR308 20" fluted barrel if anyone is interested.

if you're bringing in a gun to sell/trade, nothing needed but the regular gate fee

Well I went to the Gun Show today....The place was packed with shoppers and vendors, it's a three day event so westside vendors showed up to dump their stuff. AR 15's were there by the truck loads and it's very obvious that the panic buying is just about over. Prices were back in check with pre-panic prices with brand new Oly Arms Plinker Plus models selling for $699 and Rock River Arms predator models going for $1100 - $1200, tons of Magpul 30 round mags, most were 25- 30 bucks with some others going for $15 each. AR15 barrels in 5.56, 300BLK, 6.8SPC and gazillions of parts galore including complete uppers, very nice billet lowers for $180, bolt carrier groups, Magpul stocks, for ends just tons of stuff.

Funny thing was... it didn't appear that many of the AR15's were moving even at the reduced prices so if anyone is looking for parts or a complete rifle or carbine, tomorrow would be a good day to get to Spokane.

Id like to think that I have a pretty good feel on the buying and selling pulse online and it seems that people are cashed out right now. Most overpayed for items during the panic and will soon be trying to recoup their money, which is going to be difficuly given what most payed.  It is (or will be soon) truely a buyers market.

I think the glory days are just about over, for sure.  This morning while I was eating breakfast at a restaraunt with TVs everywhere, I was watching the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Miami Fla. and there were a lot of empty seats, even in the FRONT ROW!  And some of the cars were selling for what was the starting bid 3 or 4 years ago!  Definitely an indicator of where the country is headed, money-wise!

I've seen quite a few guys trying to dump AR's that were bought to flip.  Most are still overpriced but they aren't moving either.

Found some powder in-stock online at regular prices.  Ordered 7,500 bullets this last week and they were shipped within a couple days.

Unless something "major" happens, we should probably see things back to somewhat normal in 6 months or so.

Sure hope prices are getting back to reasonable Ordered a Stag Model 4L yesterday and price quoted was almost $200.00  less than it was advertized from Stag. Only problem is the wait time for shipment

Great to hear the prices are coming back to normal. Maybe I can get an AR soon.

Stag and Rock River are the only ones that make a left-handed AR 15.
