First day was slow!
« on: April 16, 2013, 04:33:10 AM »
Been out all morning.  Seen a ton of birds behind fences on private property. Heard one gobble after a coyote was yapping.  They are not talking much at all, I heard the hens yelping like crazy.  It may be still to early???  Anybody else had some luck??  Or heard them??

No not local, I'm north east, Blanchard.  I got one Tom committed and after 30 minutes he changed his mind, he was 60 yards from me, that was the closest. He did came in from over a couple of hundred yards, that got my blood boiling!

Are you hunting with a bow Buglebuster??
