Camping in walla walla
« on: April 12, 2013, 12:18:46 AM »
So to make a Long story short , I'm taking my father in law and brother in law turkey hunting.  I have never hunted turkey
They insist on going to walla walla  and furthermore I have no idea what I'm getting into.
I need to start with a good camping spot, he's getting up there in age  , but dosent mind roughing it too much , so if you guys know of any open campgrounds let me know .
I'm sure as  much as everything else I've hunted there will be  a ton of learning curves.its just a matter of putting time in and dedication.

I didnt catch that part. Most land around Wally World is gonna be private. Move towards Dayton, there is a fair amount of feel free land and NF land. You could camp up near the Tucannon lakes if you can get there early.

Can't seem to find feel free hunt areas in Dayton , then again I'm not sure I'm reading this go hunt map correct.

Outlying areas there sure is. May take some driving around to find it, I am not sure how accurate that "go hunt" map is.
