This one should take the punch, and only a fork with unbelievable mass.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

I found this shed at around 5,000' elevation. Unreal a deer would be up that high at that time of year. Had to have been 15'+ of snow there when he dropped. It's 17" tall and when matched up with the pedicle of my widest blacktail is a dead match. So roughly 24" wide. Pure blacktails in this area.

3nails, that is a nice one. "Pure blacktail", you mean that they are columbian, and not a bench leg?

Yes. Seems there are some on here that think all big blackies are bench legs. Just wanted to be clear.
I'll be hunting the area I found this shed very hard this year!

I have shared this set before, but they are probably the best we have found. Killing him the next year only made it better.

Regressed.

I missed this blackie during the rifle season, I was using my t/c 30-06 pistol, after missing I left it at home the rest of the season. I went back to the area in Jan and found one of his sheds, two weeks later I found the other side and had zach at Rainier taxidermy put them on a plaque.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
