who's going back to hunt bumping & nile?
« on: April 16, 2013, 07:27:32 AM »
Since antlerless archery is open again in the two units who's going back?  I hunted it the last year it was open saw a ton of elk had a good hunt then it turned into spike only.  Decisions decisions.

Will be hunting it with 4 other buddies, should be a good hunt.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

The Nile was lights out for the late hunt last year. Never seen so many Elk.
Couldent get out for the early season.

Our little area in the Bumping has always been good to. Just dont hunt Spike only areas so its been a couple years.

Will be in one or the other though...

Still going to be in Rimrock.  Although I do have a honey hole in the Nile that has me pondering it.

If I don't draw a Little Naches bull tag I'll be at the Nile.

One word.. Crowded!  Expect to see a ton of hunters.  I never stopped hunting it and will be back again.  Almost closed the deal on a spike in 2010 and 2011 but man is that a tough hunt.  Spike only with a bow that is.
