Getting stationed here a 1-1/2 year ago, this is my second elk season, and of course my first one in that GMU. Once my kids are out of school next week, we're going camping at Bumping Lake, plan is to beging to familiarize myself with the area and start my scouting process. Not looking for any "honey-holes" but if I could get a steer in at least a decent direction, I'd appreciate it.If your looking somewhere you can drive to and hunt from check out Timber wolf MT. or Cache Prairie. If your looking for somewhere to hike into, check out Indian creek meadows. Good Look

Like I said... It will be crowded this year due to the fact that it has been closed for three years and everyone forgot how tough it actually is. It doesn't take many guys to have them running scared and the bulls mute.
the bumping wont be crowded. it is a big unit and there is plenty of room for everyone. hell, I have never seen anyone where I have hunted before.
