Decent Bull
« on: October 05, 2008, 05:51:41 PM »
I've had my camera out now for about 5 months, I've got at least 1000 pics...

Here's my tally:

-4 different bears
-Dozens of Blacktial bucks, mostly small but a few decent bucks
-Hundreds of elk pics but only a few bulls
-At least 100 pictures of one pesky Coyote
-1 raccoon
-Several nursing fawns and calves

Still hoping to get some felines...

This is the best bull to date...and that coyote that makes a presence every day.

I never get tired of checking this thing, wether I use it for hunting or not it's almost a sport in itself, I'll definitely have a couple more in the pipe line soon, I'm thinking I'll try a higher end model that might do a better job on moving critters.

Elk season was tough for me this year...not much talking.  I only saw 5 legal bulls and I hunted my butt off.  I had a couple real close calls sitting on wallows but that pesky wind boogered it up.

great pic!  I completely agree - it's as addicting as hunting itself.  I have three and will likely double that by next fall.

I'ts kinda funny, he's in there a couple times a day but never comes in when I'm sitting in my stand, I've put in several hours trying to take care of him.

Well, it looks like this bull didn't make it...one of my neighbors supposedly shot it.  Guess I'm a little selfish, I was hoping he'd make it and I'd get another chance at him next archery season. :'(
