I'm all for being on the dock and having a pot of boiling water ready to cook some fresh crab .. but not sure if the moniker "crab gal" is something I want to be known by.  Just sayin

I bet we could set you up with a table or two out on the grassy area...have a trash can on standby for shells.

I had a few other terms that are considered friendly when on the deck of the boat but maybe not forum friendly. I see how Crab Gal could be misunderstood.....

Good Morning Stalker......Yes, we are still in need of boats for the event. Presently there are 29 confirmed registrations in hand with a few on the way in. We project that we will need 50 to pull this off. That includes one support boat for medical response and one boat for the video/camera crew......
You can hit me up on my email and I will send you the sign up sheet..... cabincreekadventures@yahoo.com or you can call me at 425.330.0415
Thanks for everything
Randy

Here are the weight releases...

http://www.alssports.com/Product.aspx?pf_id=10212347&gclid=CKzR7Lu187YCFS9dQgodqmYADA

That is the set up for dropping the weights. Just cut some steel bars, drill a thru hole, tie on some cord, and let it drop off when the fish hits. Can get away with lighter action rods since that isn't swinging around with the fish.

I will offer up a cooker and pot for crabs. I'm stoked about this event and trying to recruit some of my fellow Boeing employees to sign up. To those of you who are not familiar with catching pinks, I'd be happy to meet up before the event and take you out for the day on my boat. We can go over all the techniques, but really, it's not hard. I catch just as many on divers as I do on down riggers. Here is a pick of my new 20' Jetcraft discovery. I hope to have the name painted on the side by the time of this event.

Another cooker for crab would be great, I think we're going to need it!

You mean cooker person or cooker equipment? I've got a turkey fryer/crab cooker that I could bring. It's only ever cooked crabs.
