Welcome Robbo, I am proud to be a part of this event and I look forward to meeting you as well. I'm still trying to get some more Boeing guy's involved.

Hi All
Just a note to say that there is room for one more boat that could guide around a medic and photographer. You would still be able to get some fishing in if you wanted to.
I have 42 confirmed registrations for boats in hand with 7 more on the way.........If we receive one more willing to escort around a medic and a photographer, then all others wanting to participate may have to be placed on a waiting list in the event someone had to drop out.
Thanks so much for all the support!

Randy, sounds like the whole thing is on schedule to offer the Soldiers a great day with plenty of boats to host them.

All.......I do think that we are well on track for the event. I really thought we would be well into summer before the boat numbers were reached. The outpouring of support has been incredible! We have several professional guides that will be participating.
We have 77 veterans so far. That number will certainly grow to 100 plus. I expect that will happen late June or early July. There is so much flux in their schedules for a number of reasons. I just signed up 1 more with a caregiver today out of JBLM Warrior Transition Battalion.
We also have several Sponsor Reps that will be out with us. Lamiglas and Daiwa for sure. Some others to follow I expect.
Take care
Randy

Yes we did meet at the Seahawks kids fishing event at the VMAC a few years back. Nice to see you on here Fish4Fun. It's pretty special that you donate your time and boat for these events. That's' pretty darned cool man. This Salmon for Soldiers deal is going to be awesome and Randy and Penny are doing such a great job of organizing the whole dealio. Good stuff!

A guy I work with has a 32 foot center console boat. He wants to help out as a medic/photographer boat if we still need one.

I currently have the two medics, 2 photographers and videographer assigned to boats. I would love to have him in reserve though....Let me know if
that works for him.

I gave him the info and he will be getting ahold of you today. His boat is perfect for this type of thing. He could probably fit a 10 man camera crew on the deck of this boat. The deck is 10 feet wide!

Hi Randy,
How are we doing on the number of soldiers compared to the number of boats?

I have a Wounded Warrior that works for me in Florida, and was thinking about flying him up here for  this event.  He served our country with honor and I would love to do this for him.  But if you don't have enough boats yet I don't want to bring this up to him yet.

Let me know and if it can work, I will work on getting him tickets for a flight up to the great northwest!

Thanks!
Brian
