Going to head up Sat to Everett and do some scouting fishing - anyone in the area heading that wants to show my boat around a bit?  Want to make sure I got a few places picked out where I want to head that morning.  This will be the first time fishing any of these northern areas in this part of the water.  Will be at the dock around 0500hrs...

Hey Cohoho, are you talking about this Saturday, as in tomorrow? I will be out with my wife and son. I would be glad to show you around some.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not!

Going to head this Sat to run around Everett area and south, so all of the boat owners that are doing the Salmon for Soldiers join on in if your in the area, maybe a little pre-event trip..

Salmon Dreams, sorry I won't be able to donate that fishing trip as my back up boat just had the engine sieze up on me... not sure what we will be doing for fishing, or transportation for that matter.   :bash:

That's OK lokidog! I hope you get back up and running soon.  :) The talk is already out there of putting on another Salmon for Soldiers next year. Maybe you will be in position to join us then. Really look forward to meeting you.....

h20hunter, I am pumped and ready to go. Will finish getting some gear ready tonight for this weekend too. My plan is to target the Pinks this weekend and see if I can get them figured out what they want. Never really TARGETED Pinks before, I have the idea on how, where and all that, just gotta go do a practice run at them is all. Then we are set for the 10th

Not real tough......drag your gear above 50 in the morning and don't be afraid to follow them down when the sun comes up. Slow is the name of the game...stick with your basic humpy gear....white dodger and pink hoochie. I like to keep a rod rigged ready to go with a jig or buzz bomb. I've leared a need little trick....don't horse them up to fast and you may get some followers...they will hit a jig right next to the boat. Look for nets in the air......should be plenty of fish come the 10th.

H2O,  me too.  My gear is already for the fun.  gonna go out this weekend.  Not sure if I'm gonna hit humpy hollow, possession or Lagoon Point.

Reports havent been too good out of humpy hollow or Possession.  Rumor has it that they are stacked up at Lagoon Point waiting for some precipitation.  That all might change with some rain in the next few days.

Fish4Fun,

What time you leaving the dock?

I usually run a stacked unit.  One down low for some king/silver aciton.  the other one 50ft or shallower for some pinks.
