I am ready. I picked up the boat from Bayside on Saturday and ran it Sunday. Running good and the kicker is purring with a freshly cleaned carb. Churchill Brothers fixed me up with some new snaps here and there...new sliders on my canvas. Rods are strung and all knots are freshly tied. GoPro trolling housing is ready..........

NOW ALL WE NEED ARE SOME HUMPIES!

Who's fishing Friday??????????????????  We'll (Robodad and Myself) will be launching near the daylight time frame on Friday -maybe 0600 to be more accurate, hope to see some of you..  Of course afternoon around 1500hrs will be Beer Thirty for those that part take, somewhere along the mooring dock...  Channel 68 as Cohoho..  See you guys there..  Mike

Side note- Randy (Salmon Dreams) is the man, never seen someone so committed to ensuring the event is such a success.  My hat's off to him 100%.  And big old "retired veteran" salute goes out to him

We'll be over Friday night probably around 6 or 7 to dump the Hewes in the water. We're going to leave it overnight. We'll give you a shout. Definitely will partake in a cold pop.

We will be up there to get F4F on the dock, probably around 12:30 or 1:00 Friday afternoon. Looking forward to the Friday evening social on the dock too. Randy, I would be honored to offer you a cold beverage Friday afternoon and thank you again for putting this great event together.  :brew: :brew:

I am already running the mental check sheet to be sure I have everything I need for the day. I am so pumped for Saturday to get here. Feels like the week before opening day of Deer Season, all you can think about is Saturday morning.

Was in the garage last night checking knots....the wife asked me why I kept tugging on and looking closely at the line....I told her to leave me alone.....there is no help for my condition. The only remedy is blood on the deck, scales under my nails, dry skin with salt residue, a swaying motion that is felt into the evening......

don't sweat it if you forget something.  I'm sure there will be plenty of people(me included) that will have extra stuff if you forget something.   :)
It is what you meant it to be...

Lost...  I used to guide on the Columbia down by Astoria for Sturgeon. There is probably 3 of everything on the boat for fishing. Just want to make sure I am going to have everything for the guest. Not so much the fishing stuff I worry about, it is the fun a enjoyment factor I think about.

Should be all set, got the bad mojo out of the boat this past week.... :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Neighbor caught 1 pink yesterday out in MA9 after most of the day trying. Hopefully they show up in the next couple days.

Area 5 and 6 last week didn't have massive amounts of pinks, but plenty enough to try and avoid them trying for kings. They were running deep, 80 plus on the cable for what it's worth. It will be fun for you guys either way. Thanks for supporting our soldiers.
