Own/have owned them all, and all great glass. My preference for my longrange stuff is, obviously, Vortex. Service second to none. Another under appreciated optic in my op is the Bushnell
Elite 6500. Use 2 of these and amazing clarity and low light brightness!

Wish they would've been on sale a couple weeks ago!

I went outside the box and bought my very first product made by Bushnell.  Brown truck brought it today.  It's an XRS 4.5-30X50.  A friend of mine sold one of his SB's to buy one of these and he loves it.   So I had to at least give them a chance.

I'll mount it on something tomorrow when I get up, and maybe start a thread with a review.  It's an FFP, 34mm tube, mil/mil, with zero stop, and the turret is the same "speed" as my NF, and a reticle that looks good to me.  (I'm a Horus fan).   It's sitting here on the computer desk and I will say it's real short and really heavy.

I love my Nightforces and like I said, if this special had been running a couple weeks ago, I would've saved some money and bought another NF.

I would like to see a write up on the Bushnell.

I'm going to post this here and that's it.

We are done with the drama from a few of the posters in this thread. We're done with threads getting trashed, chests getting beaten, d--ks getting measured, etc. Lets call it a day with all that crap. This is a hunting forum where we all get together to share our interests. It's not Days of our Lives.
I'm going to let the thread go on. If it gets sidetracked with more of  the BS drama, I will delete it and vacations will be handed out.

Thanks.

Not really seeing a problem with bh posting about his poor experience with vortex. I do see a problem with someone saying he has a little dick and the mods allowing that. I've seen you guys hand out vacations for less.  Guess it's only a family kid friendly site when someone is going against your beliefs.

OK, it's all fixed up now. I thought we might not have to babysit a group of adults but I guess we do.

What was wrong with Bullcanyons post? Its true to an extent. Ive been given a vacation for calling someone a bass turd. I can see where we want it to be friendly for all. But I also believe a dude should be able to post a pro or a con without getting a black eye. So if timeouts are coming, start with the first offender. This place needs a even playing field. It couldnrt be any lumpier.

It has nothing to do with anyone's reviews or opinions of anything on this thread. There's a couple posters on here who have a beef with one another who like to egg each other on. The guy who posted the little d--k comment has been dealt with. We do the best we can to run this site while we are also at work trying to make a living. Do some things get by us? Yup... It's the best we can do with the free time we have to spend while also maintaining all the other normal "real life" responsibilities we have.  There are 350 people on this site at this very moment and there are 3 mods online. It's impossible for us to keep up with everything. Maybe if Dale would give me a raise I could quit my day job but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
 ;)
