you've earned it by now, phool. keep at it and when you're done, you know you've done all you can do, however it turns out.

good luck on the remainder of the hunt.

Hey 300, could you posibly post up that soup pic for me, it might help motivate me or lower my expectations.

I am going to be cold and say I hope you shoot it the weekend before you and your gang go to Montana, that way we get some more updates and you get to concentrate on the MT hunt.

I'm not 100% behind this but since you insist  :chuckle:

I did find where a bull was hanging out if you need to fill your tag. He was about 36" to maybe 38". Long forked fronts but small palms. I hunted him for two days, called him in on the 2nd, he was coming hard. I made a cow call and this cow started calling hard and he left with her, never got a look at him that day. The next morning on the 3rd, I maid 3 sets of bull grunts and here he came. 300 yds across a meadow rigth to me. He came in 30 yds away before I decided to get out of there. Lots of fun.

Thanks for the incentive 300, that pic is a classic.

Richard, a 40" should be rather easy the last couple days, we have been seeing little guys like that.

OK, I can sleep tonight!  8)Before this is done I may need to send you a safeway fuel card!!! :'(
We were seeing several moose in the Winchester area and Tacoma Creek  area. I could have spent more time and got a bigger one but this one was in the right place at the right time!  :hello:And I wanted it!. I'll PM you with other spots we were told about too. You won't have to ride the bikes!  There's lots of hunting area to cover yet and with the snow the moose will be more visible! Besides the moose are just getting bigger with each day ( more to eat!)  :chuckle:
Thanks for the great pictures! STB

You got that right about the fuel. Its been about $200.00 in fuel per trip so far, good thing Outfitter hooked me up so close to where we are hunting, we can ride bikes and hike. I'm not much into road hunting from a car so I am saving money in that respect.

Unfortunatly for M-Ray its been an even more expensive trip so far, he has been using my Swaro EL 10X42's, wait until we get to Montana and he starts looking at bucks a mile away with my Swaro spotter :chuckle: Not to mention the fact that his electric razor fell out of the truck at some point on the mountain :bash:
