LOL.....  I know it's just wrong, and there really aren't any pictures on MM.   But it's fun to just sit back and click on who's online and watch people disappear, only to come back a few minutes later.  You know who you are ;)  couldn't resist going over to check... OK, I was really bored.

Okay guys be patient this is going to take a while. I have to re-size pics as I go and make individual posts to get all the pics loaded on here.

First I need to thank all the people that helped me out on this hunt. Hunting Cowboy, Rougheye, MagKarl, Grizzly95, Wea300mag, Ridgerunner, Burnhamrand, Cohoho and many others for offering to come over and help, Machias for offering to bring his pack mules if I got one in a bad place. Just because I didn't call doesn't mean you didn't help. Having the offers put my mind at ease wondering what the hell I would do if I got in a serious pinch and couldn't get my animal out before it spoiled. To each of you, thank you very much, it is much appreciated.

Shawn, you were sorely missed as was Waid and Shorty, I wish you all could have been there for the finale but understand. That first trip over was one I will never forget and will always have great memories of it whenever I reflect back on this hunt.

Bone, Josh, Shedseeker, Brian (PendOreilleadventures), Walt, thank you each for helping me find locations to check out. I can assure you that all the areas you pointed out were thoroughly hunted.

Adam from Sherman Creek Outfitters, thank you for giving up time with your wifes hunt to point me in the right direction ;) It was tag soup without your help and I won't soon forget that.

Mark (M-Ray), you were steadfast in your commitment to get it done and your constant positive outlook kept me from falling into depression and losing track of my goal and objective. Always there to cheer me up and keep me looking forward to what the next day might bring, your PMA was a big part of keeping me getting up every morning and hiking those mountains. Thanks again Brother, you are a rare hunting partner and a true friend.

My wife and kids for understanding my obsessions and never making me feel like I was neglecting them.

I'm sure there are several I have missed and to those I apologize for not getting you on here.

Last but certainly not least my new family in Elk. Joe (Outfitter), Jodi, Ben, Nick, Dakota and Josie, I can't thank you enough for offering up your home to a total stranger and making me feel completely at home. I got my moose but more importantly I am blessed to have gained new friends in the process. Your hard work and commitment to helping were exceeded only by your generosity and I could not have gotten this done without you, I am deeply in debted to you all.

Once again to everyone, a heart felt thank you!!!!

I'm getting there. Why didn't you just jump in your car and make the 5 minute drive? By the way, I stopped a couple times to get picks of your buck but both times I stopped he would bolt off into the trees before I could even think about getting the camera up.

Friday we got over there with enough time to hit the evening hunt but only saw cows but as we headed down the mountain it had began to snow pretty heavily so we were optomistic of finding tracks on Saturday and running them out.

Saturday we woke to a few inches of new snow and the ride to the area was a bit more stressful than it had been. Just outside of Usk at first light Mark spotted this buck, he got caught out in the open and was very very nervous. It was still pretty dark so I had to slow the shutter down thats why the pics are not that sharp but you can still get a good idea of what he looked like.

Heading up the hills it was still coming down a little and we spotted these deer, they look pretty cool with snow on them.

We were soon above the clouds and it was just beautiful out. We glassed a ridgeline and spotted a couple small bulls bedded so with only a day to go we decided to get a better look and made the hike. They were way too small even with little time left so we headed back down when Mark spotted a couple bucks.
