Hello all. New Turkey hunter. West of Kettle Falls with little luck staying low. Trying to get my wife and I a shot with our bows. Just wanted to send an update and thank you all for the reading and info. Fingers crossed.

Just got home from KF. It was brutal up there! I didn't see a bird and what little droppings I found were far from recent. I hunted high and low with no success. I faintly heard a gobble on Tuesday evening but that is the only turkey sign I encountered. That is my usual hunting area and I always atleast tangle with birds there but this year was completely dead. The wind and controlled burning aren't helping either. I would suggest moving on.
