I have always been an Easton kinda guy but I have used Goldtips the last 3 or 4 years ...They have both treated me good over the years ...Now as far as the guy standing on the arrows I have to call BS ...Hope they can defend themselves when someone brakes their neck  :yike: :bdid:

I don't see how this "test" is relevant though.

seems like sometimes when you put one in the boiler room the shoulder blade/muscles will come back an kind cut your arrow...if they can bend like this they might hold up better and help keep your arrow whole  :dunno: cept ive had gold tips break tho soo who knows

one of you guys with gold tip arrows should give this a try and post the results!

:yeah:

kenetic pros are just a tad to expensive, sorry  :chuckle:

Always figured the brush/trees broke em off

I used Gold Tip Pro hunters for a while. Two years ago I switched to GT Kinetic Pros. Both are awesome arrows!

I like my gold-tip XT Hunters. They feel light, strong, and no crappy clear-coat on the shaft :chuckle:

Still have some left or are they in the bushes?   :chuckle: :chuckle:
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

 :yeah:

Marketing hype.  If you're standing on your shafts while you're hunting, you're doing it wrong.

I used to shoot gold tips and if I had any left I'd try it... I gave them all away tho. Someone has to have 3 old goldtips in their arrow bucket?

Marketing hype indeed!  It's similar to Buck knives, in the late 80s.  They'd hammer knives into a tree and then use them to climb the tree.  However, if you read the warranty, at the time, it explicitly explained that doing so would void the warranty...lol.
