legal place to broadhead tune

I am wanting to go make sure my thunderheads are shooting good before turkey hunting next weekend.  I am wondering if it would be legal to take my block out to the cresent lake bird unit outside Monroe and fling some arrows.  The wdfw sign at the parking area only states no trap shooting.  There is plenty of room so I figure it would be fine. 
Opinions or know if they would care. We use that area for close to home waterfowl hunting during the season and know the area well.

Skookum Archery Club in Puyallup has sand contained burms for broadhead practice out to 50yds for members/non-members and foam broadhead targets on the 'members' range that can be moved around out to 50yds.

Right on thanks for the opinion.  Just trying to stay out of trouble with wdfw.  I have always followed the game laws but there is a lot more confusion on what is ok and what's not out here than the game laws and land useage than where I am from.(Wyoming)

Call them, you're paying their wage, they can take the time to inform you. Get their name so you can tell the Gamie who sent you! It's better to play it safe than sorry...though WA game agents are mostly pretty cool people from what I can tell, would more than likely warn you.

I have done that for long range tuning out there. Just be careful to find a spot where you can see all around you for a way. There are guys who walk their dogs out there so make sure they can see you also.

They have sand pits at Kenmore, but they're only at a single distance. I can't remember which distance off the top of my head. 30 or 40 years I think. I don't know if they'd let you bring a block or not, couldn't hurt to call and ask. Might be a member only type deal to bring a block in and shoot it. The sand pits are open for anyone to use though. I've thought about taking my chrono out there, but I figured they'd be against it, I know chrono's on the gun range are members only, so I never bothered to ask about doing it on the archery range.
