late archery help needed
« on: October 07, 2008, 04:49:45 PM »
Well me and a friend are having a hard time locating a place for deer.  We tried a little last year with no success.  We hardly saw anything and then we didnt get any time to scout over the summer due to a deployment.  We went out during early season and I connected with a bear but that was the only thing we saw besides a few toms.  Looking for some where around the spokane area and just want some meat.  Im really looking for my friend to get something since he has never taken an animal.  Im from TX and not used to the terrain and conditions up here so any help or tips would be appreciated.

buy a cheap trail cam and put it over some corn hay and apples in some thick timber with lots of rut sign, rubs, scrapes, ect. gauranteed a deer.
