In all fairest to the guys post, he did use the word "SOME" ... and I don't care which side of the state you're from or what you're doing, you will always encounter the "SOME" ... you just need to not let the "SOMEs" affect the quality of what you do or your enjoyment of things in life .... that includes somewhat disparaging and unnecessary posts. As Dale has stated, I have never felt unwelcome in Colville/Kettle Falls (as wll as Northpport, Davenport, or any of the other places I hunt and fish), and have met many good people I now consider lifelong friends. Life's too short to sweat petty things and/or to let any "SOME" rob you of the better things you'll find in life and treasure ....

I didn't know that the word "knucklehead" was banned from the site.
It's not, I just wanted to remove anything that referenced that one post so that we could get this topic back on track to help people.

I'm always impressed on how dedicated many of these hunters from the Wet Side are....I defiantly know how hard it it scheduling time away from work, getting permission from the wife, saving the money to go....I can't even imagine trying to find a place to hunt over here, while living over there.
Keep at it boys.....we all love to hunt.
PS---They were gobbling up a storm this morning, herd five different groups, and brought three in from over 500 yards. Amazing!

wow ..crazy post ...I agree with BearPaw ...I have met some of the nicest people while out turkey hunting ...Now we all know as the season goes on it get tougher to find and kill birds but if you put in the effort you can come up with places to hunt by knocking on doors ...yeah there are always the ones who say no but do not give up because alot say yes ... just present yourself in a respectful manner and sooner or later you will find the honey hole :tup:It is definately not the same as it is in the beginning of the season when the hens are all flocked up with gobblers and the birds are everywhere ...if they started the season at the end of April when all the hens are nesting it would be a whole different story in how many birds get harvested ...The birds are there but just harder to find
