Battleready's 40th B-Day Bird Bash
« on: April 21, 2013, 02:36:51 PM »
What better place to take a turkey killer than to Bearpaw Outfitters.  So just a few days after Battleready's 40th birthday I took my good friend over for the turkey opener.  Brian, Ray, Dale and Tara took good care of us, fed us some good grub and put us on some nice birds.  Battleready took care of business on the second day taking a bird in the morning and one in the afternoon.  I felt as though it was my birthday too as Dale set me up on a stand where I took two toms with my bow before lunch on the first day :IBCOOL:  I can not thank the wonderful bunch at Bearpaw enough for making the birthday bird bash successful as well as fun!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I think Battleready was a little disappointed when he found out it was time to go home :chuckle:

Just might be my favorite turkey picture ever

Sure hope you enjoyed it buddy.  If not for you I would never have gone and enjoyed getting mine too.  Sure hope it was worth the 16 hours of sitting in the truck listening to me ramble on ;)  Next stop Gillette, WY for antelope   Hope your ready for more sitting and you got that bow battle ready :chuckle:

...OK.  So I have a problem with them when they are close and standing still :tung:  Next time I'll have a six yard pin :chuckle:

Good job RS & BR ... Kudos to Dale & crew too !!!

Grew up in Hockinson area & graduated from BGHS.  Just wanted to ask if you were hunting Mrs. B's estates off of Highland Loop? Use to hunt there until Dale leased.
