Seen this critter on the Chesaw road next to Beth Lake. What the heck is it?
Mink/Ferret without a doubt. I used to own 2 of them.

No. All ferret der. lol

I meant mink / or ferret. Sometimes they look very similar.

Based off the tail in your photo though. I guarantee 100% it was a ferret. Not sure if we have them wild out here? could have been an escaped one or one someone pawned off to nature. Thats what wound up happening to mine. They escaped. Vanished without a trace. :( Some of the funniest little pets Ive ever had though.

My rats came in close second.

Really even if that was a joke, that's a possibility. They're some of the best critters to hunt rabbits with.
They're extremely smart.

smossy i have to agree, ferrets are awesome pets, funnier than you know what, especially when they run sideways making their squeking noise and pow right into the wall, goofy devils, and they like to stockpile food, bags of top ramen or whatever they can wrestle out of the pantry, i miss my ferret, his name was boogie.... he was cool, but damn he could get to stinkn if he went more than a couple days without a bath, which he loved by the way :chuckle: :chuckle:

lol Yeah same for mine, Roshi (Short for ferocious) and Missy, She was a *censored*, Pierced my nose one time with her teeth and got me good on the cheek another. Shes a terd. Roshi was the most loving of all ferrets on earth. He was like a dog couldnt go two seconds without being by your side. Could never find my tv remotes or my matching slippers. :chuckle: Plus if it crinkled. They were stealing it. Ramen bags, Old groceries bags, anything.

Dude, you don't know squat about no ferrets, it would probably chew on your bear, and then you'd have to put it on the choppin block!!!
