Top 5 animals you would take in Africa.
« on: April 22, 2013, 12:45:35 AM »
So I thought this could he interesting.

Say you got 1 chance to hunt anywhere in Africa you wanted.  Money was no object.  The catch is you were limited to 5 animals.  What would they be?

I would have to go with;

1. Male Lion
2. Nyala
3. Zebra
4. Kudu
5. Impala

Ever since seeing Buzzy Cook mounting a giant african timber hog I've been facinated with them.  I don't have much of a desire to shoot a zebra. Stupid I guess, but I can't get over the whole horse like thing. And I don't know the reason why, but elephant, rhino and hippo have never sounded too enticing to me either.  But shooting an antelope the size of a moose or elk - now that excites me!

#1 - Giant Timber hog
#2 - Eland
#3 - Kudu
#4 - Bongo
#5 - Cape Buffalo
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I'm planning on going to Africa with my brother next year, first time for either of us to go there, outside of the cape buffalo ($ issue) that's my dream list for this hunt.
