Got my central WA bird.
« on: April 23, 2013, 07:20:47 AM »
Made A Day Trip To Central WA, And Was Done Hunting And Back To The Truck By 6:45.  Got To My Secret Spot, Got Out Of The Truck And Heard Two Gobbling On The Roost.  I Made My Way Towards Them And Set Up.  When They Flew Down They Worked Away From Me.  I Repositioned On The Hill Above Them Made A Few Hen Calls, And They Came Right To Me.  First One Was A Jake, Second Was A Nice Tom.  As They Came In Struttin The Jake Spotted Me At About 15 Yards And Turned Away.  I Was Already Set Up On The Tom And Shot Him.  Done Deal!
