Wolf hit on Blewett
« on: April 23, 2013, 04:38:03 PM »
Adult female wolf was killed on Blewett Pass last week.  Appeared to have been eating on a road kill deer.  Judging by the mess  I'm told it appears to have been hit by a semi.

I think my BS-o-meter just pegged.

This would have made big news.

Seattleites would have held a vigil for it, and I didn't see a caravan of Subaru's go by.....

Heard from a police officer in the area confirming this.

Funny. People didn't want to believe a wolf got hit on I-90 near Post Falls either. Why is this so hard to believe? Are wolves thought to be too smart to get run over by cars? Happens to deer all the time. Why not wolves?
