Either way. One less wolf in ID and WA is great!

Heard from a police officer in the area confirming this.

Confirming a wolf hit on Blewett?????

Tell me more.....  I'm afraid to get my hopes up, but I'll gladly apologize to SOOPER if he broke legit news here.

Wolf versus truck= bad news for wolf.

Funny. People didn't want to believe a wolf got hit on I-90 near Post Falls either. Why is this so hard to believe? Are wolves thought to be too smart to get run over by cars? Happens to deer all the time. Why not wolves?
Personally I hope they all get hit  :dunno: :chuckle: But you sure would think you could find something to confirm it  :dunno:

Nothing on the KPQ AM website about it yet....  :dunno:
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

Even if his rig has damage - it's still worth it!  :chuckle:

But why?

Every time a deer or elk is hit by a car it does not make the news. I don't see why a wolf would be any different. Just doesn't seem to be that newsworthy to me.  :dunno:

Really? Deer aren't the subject of an intensely dividing recovery effort, whereas wolves are. . . I don't know what the estimated numbers are for that specific area, but if it were 20 wolves or so, that'd be 5% of the wolf population there gone just like that. Wouldn't be one bit surprised if it made news.  Actually more surprised if it didn't.

I remember a week or two ago a cougar was hit on I-5 near Woodland, that made the news. . . But a wolf, even more rare, wouldn't?  :dunno:

I could see it making the news, sure. But just because it didn't, I'm not going to disbelieve that it actually happened.

I just spoke to the local game warden and local law enforcement officers, its just another rumor gone bad, I drove over Blewett Friday evening and Sunday afternoon,  I did see a lot of deer along the side of the road, eating  the salt left over from the last snow storm, so its entirely possible that it could happen, some one might have picked it up thinking it was a road-kill  pet
