Reading his last several posts is a tough one.

Very sad day.

Aaron's F.O.B. took rockets and he died from wounds sustained in the attack.  Aaron had a 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter.  He was his sons hero and mine!  He wanted to fly since he was a little boy and he really was living his dream!  It still doesn't even seem real like its just a bad dream.  He flies into Dover on the 25th and I will be there to meet him and bring him home.  He was my best friend and brother.  He was the best man I ever knew.  He stood tall, left his family and life to protect us from the evils of the world so they would never come knocking on our doors.  Looks like I will be chasing elk solo from here on out!  Keep the wind in your face and take it slow brother!  I love you!

WOW, this sucks. Can't believe I could be choked up about someone I didn't know other than thru the sight. I guess we are all one big family. We'll keep up the fight to protect those elk for ya brother.  :salute:

Prayers go out to the family and friends.  Never easy when you know the person.  Didn't know him other than conversations on the site.  My heart breaks for a brother in arms! :salute: :brew:

this is the hardest thing I've had to do. Colokumelk was killed in action in the last few days along with 1 other soldier and 1 injured in Afghanistan.  I just got the call and I don't have much info. I'm just setting here praying they were wrong. if or when I know more I will pass it along. He was a good man and was proud to serve. I will be praying for his friends and family

There are 4 pages and I have only begun to read this, so I am hoping and praying this is bad  info ! Prayers to friends and family if this is true(I hope not)!
