Central WA Toms down
« on: April 24, 2013, 09:45:15 AM »
Shot mine the first 10 minutes of my hunt. Busted it as he was walking across the road. Not the ideal hunt i wanted but sure feels nice to get my first tom.

The second bird was a blast that my buddy shot. After passing on a jake that came within 20 feet of us, he shot this tom later that afternoon and came right into my calls. This was my buddies 2 day ever turkey hunting. Epic hunt for us.

Nice job!  Where were you?  I'm trying to find somewhere to go this weekend in central WA.  Going to go to Anatone to my uncles in a couple weeks but want to go somewhere a little closer this weekend.  This will be my first turkey hunt so I'm anxious to get out there!

Thanks All. Teanaway is holding a good amount of birds right now. That's where we were. It's a big area so i'm not telling exactly where my honey hole is, but if you get off the roads and away from other hunters you should have birds around you.
