I don't think the numbers are out yet but they didn't sell out the last 2 years. I drew 240 for deer and 270 for elk

well it looks like I didnt draw the 380 or 410 rifle bull tags, go figure  :chuckle:

Nice thing about montana is I get just as excited hunting most general hunts as I would hunting a special permit in washington  :chuckle:

Congrats to you out of staters that got drawn for the general licenses, PM if you'd like to chat about areas and have more than one post.

You can buy it online or when you get there.  If it's the first time you've bowhunted there, you'll need proof of a bowhunter ed class or an archery license from Washington.

Lots of deer, elk, or both combo leftover licenses went on sale today on their website.  Looks like they didn't sell out because of the higher fees.

MT is a fallback for me now..they dont sell out and you can buy a deer or elk tag OTC
