I called friday and was told that they have 1600 deer combos and 1300 big game combos.  Didn't ask about elk combos.

This will be my first time big game combo tag for Montana, I will be going after Elk with Archery tackle and I was wondering... is the tag going to be sent to me or do I have to pick that up when I get there? Thanks for your answers. Happy Hunting.

I dont plan on MT anymore..its a fall back now..cause I know I can just buy a deer tag if I need a place to hunt come fall. I dont apply for LE tags in MT. I chuckle reading posts how people are posting how they drew a general tag like they won the lottery  I will post on here when I buy my ID elk tag

It really bothers me what's going on over there.  I'm hoping to take my son there to hunt deer when he's legal (12). That's 4 more years, I hope they come to their senses before they hit rock bottom.

I agree.  I'm going to wait this year and see what I draw before I buy a MT deer tag.
