Anyone shooting a New Breed Archery Bow?
« on: April 24, 2013, 12:42:59 PM »
Just like it says, looking for experiences with NBA, or someone that has one.  Thanks,

Andy

My wife got her New Breed Lycan Saturday . The first thing I noticed  when I was installing the fall away rest was how smooth the draw was . I looked at her and told she was going to like this bow . She normally shoot around 46 lbs. depending on the bow , (45 on her Hoyts , 46 on her Bowtechs and 47 on her Mathews ) , I turned the bow down to about 45 and headed for the range Sunday morning . After 3 shot we went ahead and cranked it back up to 50 , the draw cycle is that smooth .She is so comfortable with the draw that she is already thinking of upgrading to 55lbs limbs. After some quick sighting in she was shooting golf ball groups at 40 and 50 yards . The handle is the riser with a couple little rubber grips on the sides so I think this helped her with the torque issues , but I think the handle may be a little cold during the late season . Gloves will fix that . The bow is super quite , the quitest she has ever shot . She loves this bow . I'm so impressed that I just ordered a new Cyborg    . We will be at Lucky Shot this Saturday for the 3D shoot if you want to see hers . I hope to have mine for the Tacoma shoot in June.

Pilgrim,

Thanks for the response!  I think your wife messaged me on AT with the same offer, sounds like she is loving her new bow!  The Cyborg is actually the bow I'm thinking about as well.  I am heading down to Texas on a vacation next week and am going to visit a NBA dealer while I am there, hoping they have a Cyborg or at least an Eclipse that I can try.  I hear nothing but good things about these bows, but an reluctanct to pull the trigger on one without at least seeing one.  If I can't find a cyborg down in TX I'll definetely be in touch when you get yours, thanks for the offer! This is what I love about archery, most folks are so willing to help.
