My 2013 Musk Ox from the Artic. Got a SCI score of 67 6/8.  The scorer didn't do Boone and Crockett. Hope he is still eligible.

As of now I only have one scored critter that was entered into this contest.   I am going to send out pms to all those that submitted entries by the 31st of December and see if there are any others that are eligible.  Sorry for the delay.   I have received the travelling trophy in the mail so I will be able to get that engraved and will pass it on to the winner.  We were all winners in this.  Thanks to all that participated for this great cause. Again, I am sorry I haven't followed up with the conclusion to this contest.

PAW66.   I will do the same with the SCI score as I would with BC and Pope, so yes your critter is eligible.  Thank you for getting me a score.

  • The trophy is in the hunt; the animal is a bonus!

I completely forgot I entered this as I just considered it a donation to a great cause!  I shot a caribou in AK, a 5x5 mule deer in MT, and a 5x4 in WA.  I can't remember what the rules were but none of my animals meet the minimums for B&C so I doubt I won.  I had a lot of fun in 2013 though!

Sounds like an awesome year of hunting.   The critter was supposed to be entered by December 31st to qualify.  It was only compared to the BC or Pope records.  It didn't necessarily have to be a record.

Thanks, I had a ton of fun in 2013 and got to hunt a bunch with family and friends.  I've shot nicer animals(B&C wise)in past years but I'm not sure Ive ever enjoyed a season more as I got to help a lot of other people  fullfill dreams .  I didn't know captain Blanchard  but he is a true hero and appears to have been a great sportsman as well.
