Lets get a Bull in memory of Colockumelk!!!
«
on:
April 26, 2013, 06:50:28 AM »
Been thinking about this for a few days now. I would like to chase a Peaches Ridge bull in memory of Aaron. Although I cannot offically be a paid Guide. I will offer up my HELP for a permit holder. This will be a trip of a lifetime for a big bull in washington. My legs, back, honey holes, tent, guns whatever the hunter may need will be free of charge!!
I know Aaron would love to have chased a big bull, so hopefully a permit holder will take me up on this offer and Aaron will be with us for sure.
Not really sure what else to do, I just feel the need to go elk hunting as he would want all of us to do!!

I hope someday his kids are able to hunt here with their uncle. It would be so cool for his son to put a trophy elk down in the Colockum for his dad.

My thoughts exactly, let go hunt down a big bull for Colockumelk! I will be putting in for the Peaches Tag, but I will also put in for 1 of the 140 cow tags in Colockum as well and hope to pay tribute in a small way. I always read his post and commented at times, but enjoyed his contribution to the thing called a forum, where a band of brothers can come and speak their minds and help out one another!

This is a great tribute. I hope Karl draws a bull tag this year.

If I should be so fortunate to draw either of the Peaches modern bull tags, and 1) RT has not made another commitment for the tag time frame, and 2) he and I work out the details right after the draw results, I will then immediately papal Bone with a $500 donation to the Joshua Fund.
Now, I ask that any of you who take up RT on this offer, please consider to meet or exceed my donation offer!

I haven't been putting in for that tag, but I must say Rt... your consistent generosity and obvious desire to help others sure makes me want to change my game plan to take you up on such an offer. My hat is off to you.

I put in for Western Washington tags but this year I will put for Peaches Ridge, if I were so lucky to draw I will take up the generous offer from RT and will match the donation from 6x6in6.
wether a bull is taken or not, the hunt will be dedicated to Aaron.
